feat(ai): verify AI configuration and provider liveness from worker processes (#3298)
* feat: verify AI configuration and provider liveness from worker processes
Closes #3169.
The AI status page (#3145, PR #3155) proves only that the `web` process
resolved a valid-looking configuration and can reach the configured
provider from its own network context. Most AI workloads -- assistant
responses, PDF processing, embeddings, auto-categorization, and merchant
detection -- actually run in Sidekiq `worker` processes, which can differ
from `web` in environment, DNS, proxy rules, network policy, or even
loaded credentials (workload-specific overrides, an updated Secret without
a pod restart, `web` recreated without `worker`). A passing web check says
nothing about whether a worker can do the same.
## What this adds
`WorkerAiHealthCheckJob`, queued on demand from a new "Verify worker
configuration" button on System health -> AI status. It runs the same
bounded, non-destructive probes `AiHealth` already runs, but from inside
whichever Sidekiq worker process dequeues it, and records the result via
`WorkerAiHealth`: process identity (hostname:pid), checked-at time, a
non-secret configuration fingerprint (effective provider, model, redacted
endpoint, vector-store adapter/embedding config), and probe outcomes.
The AI status tab lists every recorded result -- most recent first, kept
for `WorkerAiHealth::RETENTION` (15 minutes) -- each labeled with a status
pill (`Passing` / `Failing` / `Stale`, the last once older than
`STALE_AFTER`) and a configuration pill comparing it against the web
snapshot (`Matches web` / `Differs from web`), with a failure-reason list
reusing the existing failure-code translations when a probe failed.
## Implementation constraints from the issue, addressed directly
- **Cannot reuse a web-cached probe result, or vice versa.** `AiHealth.new`
gained an injectable `probe_cache:` (default `Rails.cache`, matching
today's behavior). The worker job passes a fresh
`ActiveSupport::Cache::NullStore` instead, so every worker check is a
live call that neither reads a web-cached entry nor leaves one behind.
- **A single job only verifies one worker.** Documented on the button
(`coverage_notice`) and in the docs: with multiple replicas, a passing
result names one process, not the fleet. Queuing again samples another.
- **Never persists or displays a raw credential.** `WorkerAiHealth::Snapshot`
only carries redacted endpoints (AiHealth already redacts these before
they reach the job) and provider/model/status fields -- there is no field
for a token to occupy. A structural test asserts this stays true.
- **Failures land in both places an operator already checks.** Same
destinations as `AiHealth::Probe`'s own failures: `Rails.logger` and
`DebugLogEntry` (new `ai_health_worker` category), tagged with the
process identity.
- **Results carry a clear status**, including the `pending` case implicitly
(no result yet renders an explanatory empty state) and `stale` for a
result whose process may no longer reflect current state.
- **DB-backed vs ENV-backed settings are labeled.** A new info block next
to the worker results explains which UI settings propagate automatically
(rails-settings-cached invalidates the shared cache on write) versus
which require restarting/recreating both `web` and `worker`.
## What this deliberately doesn't do
Full-fleet coverage (every process publishing a periodic fingerprint) --
the issue lists this under "Other options to consider," not the acceptance
criteria, and Sidekiq's normal dispatch doesn't target every process
without an explicit per-process coordination mechanism. This PR implements
the on-demand, single-check design the acceptance criteria actually
describes ("An administrator can request an asynchronous worker-side
check", "does not imply full-fleet coverage"); periodic fleet-wide
publishing is a natural follow-up if operators need it.
## Testing
- `WorkerAiHealth`: recording/reading, same-process replacement vs.
cross-process coexistence, MAX_RESULTS bounding, staleness, status
derivation (failure codes / component statuses / function-calling
refusal), `matches_web?` comparison, and the credential-field structural
guard.
- `WorkerAiHealthCheckJob`: records a passing/failing snapshot naming this
process, writes failures to Rails.logger + DebugLogEntry (and only on
failure), never leaks the access token, and -- the defining property --
is proven to construct `AiHealth.new` with an isolated `NullStore`
rather than the shared web-facing cache.
- `Admin::SystemHealthController`: empty state, a rendered result with
matching/mismatched configuration, a failing result's failure reason, a
stale result, the `verify_worker_ai` action enqueuing the job and
redirecting with a flash notice, and that non-super-admins and
unauthenticated requests cannot trigger it.
I could not run the Rails test suite in this environment (no working
Ruby/Bundler toolchain available locally -- Ruby 2.6 system Ruby vs. the
project's required 3.4.9, no way to install without sudo/Docker access).
Every file was checked with `ruby -c`, YAML files with `YAML.load_file`,
and the ERB view with `ERB.new(...).src`, plus careful manual tracing of
each test against the production code paths it exercises, but CI should
be treated as the first real run of this suite per the repository's own
guidance for exactly this situation.

* fix: correct test setup bugs found by actually running the suite
Set up a working Docker-based Rails environment (this session's shell
had no compatible Ruby/Bundler) and ran the full suite against PR #3298.
Two real bugs surfaced that static checks couldn't have caught:
- WorkerAiHealth::Snapshot.new(**{...}.merge(overrides)) needs the
double-splat -- a bare Hash isn't auto-converted to keyword arguments.
Both test snapshot builders passed a positional Hash instead, which
raised "missing keywords" for every field on every call.
- assert_enqueued_with/assert_no_enqueued_jobs need `include
ActiveJob::TestHelper` explicitly in a plain ActiveSupport::TestCase --
every other model test in this codebase that uses them does the same;
I'd wrongly assumed it was available process-wide.
With both fixed: 7510 runs, 29877 assertions, 0 failures, 0 errors, 30
skips for the full suite; rubocop, erb_lint, and brakeman all clean.

pdf_text_extraction_probe/pdf_vision_processing_probe, so
WorkerAiHealthCheckJob#failure_codes raised NoMethodError on nil.
Also fix vector_store_status to :missing (no adapter configured) rather
than :not_configured (adapter configured but unusable) to match the
scenario AiHealth actually returns and Snapshot#status's semantics.

matches_web? (CodeRabbit) -- a worker with a different effective request
timeout than web (e.g. a workload-specific OPENAI_REQUEST_TIMEOUT override)
previously showed as "Matches web" despite a real configuration
difference, exactly the kind of drift this feature exists to catch.
- Replace border-alpha-black-25 with the border-primary functional token in
the worker result card (CodeRabbit nitpick).
- Document the dev-mode cache_store caveat jjmata flagged: bin/dev runs web
and worker as separate OS processes, and development.rb uses a
process-local memory_store/null_store, so a worker check queued locally
writes to a cache the web process never reads from -- "Verify worker
configuration" can appear to silently do nothing. Added a note to
docs/hosting/ai.md rather than changing behavior, since production's
shared Redis store is unaffected.
- Corrected the retention description in the same doc section (CodeRabbit,
most recent review): only the 5 most recently checked-in distinct
processes are retained (MAX_RESULTS), not "kept for RETENTION" -- a 6th
process checking in can evict an older entry before its own 15-minute
RETENTION window is up.
jjmata's four other findings (unconfigured-worker and missing-PDF-probe
states rendering as "Passing", and the cache-retention/TTL-extension issue)
were already fixed in

Add function-calling probe to detect tool-use support (#3255)
* feat(ai-health): name the missing function calling behind an opaque chat error The assistant reads accounts, transactions and holdings through function calls, so every chat request carries a `tools` payload. A model without function-calling support rejects it — OpenRouter answers a bare 404 — and the operator sees only that status code, with nothing pointing at the model. Both earlier attempts at this guessed from the chat-time error; the AI status page already runs live probes, so let it answer the question directly instead. `AiHealth::Probe#function_calling` asks the configured model for one trivial tool call the way the assistant asks for its own: chat completions with `tools` for OpenAI-compatible endpoints, the Responses API for hosted OpenAI, and `messages.create` with `tools` for Anthropic, carrying the same strict schema `Provider::Openai` sends. Reading it against the plain LLM probe is what makes the verdict sound rather than a guess at 404s: plain chat passing while the same request with tools fails means the model has no function calling; a response that carries no tool call means the endpoint took the tools but the model ignored them; both failing, or a timeout, stays an ordinary probe failure. The AI status card gains a Function calling (tools) row, an alert naming the fix for each of the two bad outcomes, and a failure reason. The hosting settings model field now says the assistant needs a tools-capable model and links super admins to the check. A tools request can fail for reasons that say nothing about tool support: a 429, a 500, a dropped connection, an unreadable body. Reading any non-timeout failure as `:unsupported` sent the operator hunting for a new model over a transient blip. Only a 4xx the service chose to answer with — excluding the ones that mean "not now" or "not you" — is a refusal of the tools payload; everything else stays an ordinary probe failure. The bare 404 from OpenRouter that this page exists to explain still reads as missing function calling. `Provider::Openai#supports_responses_endpoint?` is the real routing decision and `OPENAI_SUPPORTS_RESPONSES_ENDPOINT` can flip it either way, so choosing the API from "is the endpoint custom" could probe Chat Completions while chat uses Responses, or the reverse — reporting on a path the assistant never takes. Ask the provider instead, and cache the two routes under separate keys. Splitting those on the status code alone still put a 422 from an endpoint contract on the model's account and told the operator to go find another one. The probe now confirms it: when the tools request comes back a client error, it asks again with the tools taken off. Only if that lands is the tools payload what was turned down, and the probe says so with its own failure code — provider-agnostic, and no reading of error text for the word "tool", which would only ever fit the provider it was written against. Statuses that mean "not now" or "not you" (401, 402, 403, 408, 429) never get a second ask. `AiHealth` now just reports the probe's verdict instead of inferring one from the status. The troubleshooting fix no longer points at an OpenRouter free tier: those providers commonly log prompts and completions for training, and every assistant tool call carries accounts, transactions, and holdings. It points at the model recommendations already in this doc, and says why free tiers are the wrong place to look. The SSO pill was passed as a block to DS::Tooltip, which caused it to
render inside the hidden div[role="tooltip"] instead of being visible.
The text: option ("SSO Provider: ...") was also silently ignored because
tooltip_content returns content (the block) over @text when a block is
given.
Fix: render the SSO/Local+SSO pill directly as visible content and pass
DS::Tooltip with no block so text: is used as the tooltip popup. An info
icon now appears next to the pill and shows the provider name on hover.

All admin.users.index.roles.{guest,member,admin,super_admin} keys are
defined in the locale file and used elsewhere in the same view without

missing key surfaces immediately as I18n::MissingTranslationData.

* feat(self-hosting): surface Sidekiq-unhealthy nudge + admin system health page (#1481) When the Sidekiq worker container isn't running — the most common Docker Compose misconfiguration in self-hosted setups — every background job silently never executes. Balance calculations, net-worth updates, and account syncs stall. The UI shows zeros and "No balance data available for this date" without explaining why (#1481, #1047). Per jjmata's resolution on the issue, this PR ships both halves of the fix in one pass: 1. A user-facing nudge banner that appears on every authenticated page when Sidekiq isn't processing jobs. Tells the user their data may be stale; doesn't pretend zeros are real. 2. An admin-only deep link from that banner into a new `/settings/admin/system_health` page (super-admin gated, matching the existing admin namespace contract) showing live Sidekiq state: process count, last heartbeat, max queue latency, job counters, and per-queue depth. ## What changed - New `SidekiqHealth` PORO (`app/models/sidekiq_health.rb`) eagerly loads ProcessSet + Queue + Stats in one pass and exposes `healthy?` plus a stable `reason` symbol (`:redis_unreachable`, `:no_worker_processes`, `:stale_heartbeat`, `:queue_backed_up`). Any Redis/Sidekiq failure during the eager load is caught and surfaced as `:redis_unreachable` so a degraded broker never crashes the layout. - `ApplicationController#current_sidekiq_health` memoizes a single instance per request via `helper_method` so the layout, banner partial, and any controller checks share one Redis round-trip. - New `app/views/shared/_sidekiq_health_banner.html.erb` rendered from `_htmldoc.html.erb` when `Current.user` is present and the health check is failing. Banner shows the user-facing message to everyone; the "View system health" CTA + reason detail are gated on `Current.user&.super_admin?`. - New `Admin::SystemHealthController#show` (inherits the existing `Admin::BaseController`, so super-admin gating is enforced for free) + view rendering status, counters, and per-queue breakdown. - Routes: `resource :system_health, only: :show` inside the existing `namespace :admin`. - Settings nav: new "System health" entry under the Advanced section, gated on `super_admin?` to match `sso_providers_label` and `users_label`. - i18n: new `shared.sidekiq_health_banner.*` keys (title, body, CTA, per-reason explanations) and a full `admin.system_health.show.*` namespace for the new admin page. English-only, matching how `ds.pill.*` and other DS keys are scoped. ## Why - jjmata: "Let's take both approaches ... a nudge about 'data unavailable' which hyperlinks to the admin UI if you are an admin only (not for other types of users) sounds like the best path forward. **Any takers for the PR?**" (#1481) - smurfpandey: "We can add a section in Settings for superadmins to see 'health' of the application/host." - The detection signal is conservative on purpose: - `PROCESS_HEARTBEAT_TIMEOUT = 2.minutes` tolerates deploy restarts and brief Redis blips without flapping. - `LATENCY_THRESHOLD = 5.minutes` is well above the sync-job tail under default `config/sidekiq.yml` concurrency. ## Validation This worktree runs on Windows without a local Ruby toolchain, so I could not run `bin/rubocop`, `bundle exec erb_lint`, `bin/brakeman`, or `bin/rails test` locally. CI will run the full matrix on the PR: - `lint` — `bin/rubocop -f github` - `lint_js` — `npm run lint` (no JS touched, should be green) - `scan_ruby` — `bin/brakeman --no-pager` - `scan_js` — `bin/importmap audit` - `test_unit` — `bin/rails test` (includes 7 new tests under `test/models/sidekiq_health_test.rb` and 4 new under `test/controllers/admin/system_health_controller_test.rb`) - `test_system` — `DISABLE_PARALLELIZATION=true bin/rails test:system` - `pipelock` — secret + agent-security diff scan Manual checks done in this worktree: - Re-read `CONTRIBUTING.md` and `.cursor/rules/project-conventions.mdc`. Singular `resource :system_health` in `config/routes.rb` makes Rails infer `Admin::SystemHealthsController` (it pluralizes the controller name even for singular resources), but the controller file is named `system_health_controller.rb` / `Admin::SystemHealthController`. Restore the explicit `controller: "system_health"` override that the previous "address review" commit dropped on the (mistaken) premise that Rails would infer it from the namespace — the sibling admin routes all use plural `resources` so they round-trip cleanly, this one doesn't. Comment now spells the gotcha out so the next reviewer doesn't try to "simplify" it again. - `SidekiqHealthTest#test_current_memoizes_across_calls_inside_the_cache_TTL` used `assert_same` on the two returns from `SidekiqHealth.current`. `ActiveSupport::Cache::MemoryStore` defaults to `dup_values: true` and Marshals on read, so a cache hit returns an `==`-equal but `equal?`-different instance. Replace the identity check with the behavioral assertion we actually care about: re-stub `ProcessSet` to raise on the second call, then assert the second `current` return is still healthy (proving Redis was not re-queried). * fix(i18n): drop redundant inline default on system_health nav label (#1481) `system_health_label` is already defined in config/locales/views/settings/en.yml, so the inline `default: "System health"` was a hard-coded English string in the template (DS Drift Patrol Rule 5). feat(i18n): complete the German locale (#2847)
* fix(i18n): replace hardcoded UI strings with translation keys
Fourteen views printed English text directly instead of going through
t(). Those strings could not be translated in any locale, so French and
Italian users saw English there as well, even though both locales are
otherwise complete.
The Mint import form was the worst of them with thirteen hardcoded
strings, including the intro text and the submit button. The valuation
confirmation dialog passed "set" and "update" into an interpolation as
bare English words, so the verb stayed English whatever the locale.
Adds 35 keys to en and de.
* feat(i18n): complete the German locale
German covered 55 percent of the English keys, against 97 for French and
90 for Italian. The gaps ran through settings, imports, goals, insights
and every provider integration, so the interface kept switching language
in the middle of a page.
This fills 3170 keys. Terminology follows what the existing German files
already used: Konto for account, Händler for merchant, Familie for
family. Provider names, ticker symbols and the IBKR flex query field
names stay in English, because that is what users see in those services
themselves.
Interpolation variables were checked against the English source for every
translated key.
* fix(i18n): use one form of address across the German locale
The German files mixed the informal du and the formal Sie, sometimes
within the same dialog. Most of the existing strings already used du, so
the remaining 39 now follow suit.
Several of those sentences also read like form letters. "Bitte versuchen
Sie es erneut" is now "Versuch es noch einmal".
* fix(i18n): correct German names for account types
Depository accounts were called Bargeld, meaning cash, in the views,
while the model called them Bankkonto. The icon is a bank building and
the type covers checking, savings, CDs and money market accounts, so
Bankkonto fits in both places.
Investment accounts were called Investition. In German that word means
the act of investing rather than the account that holds it, so the label
read as if the app were tracking transactions instead of a portfolio.
Investment is the term people use for the account itself.
* fix(i18n): pass the account name to the SimpleFIN dialog title
The key simplefin_items.select_existing_account.title already existed and
interpolates %{account_name}. Calling t(".title") without it raised
I18n::MissingInterpolationArgument before the dialog rendered.
The controller sets @account for this action, so the title can use it and
name the account being linked.
* fix(i18n): finish the German consistency pass
Follow-up to review feedback on this branch.
Quotation marks: 32 strings opened with the German „ but closed with the
straight ASCII quote, which renders as broken punctuation. They now close
with “.
Address form: 311 strings still used the formal Sie, mostly in the
provider integrations that the earlier commit left alone. Mixing both
registers inside one screen was worse than either choice on its own, so
they now use du like the rest.
Wording: the securities breadcrumb said Sicherheit, which means safety
rather than the financial instruments, and now reads Wertpapiere. The
Redbark setup failure had a typo in the imperative. An invitation message
broke off mid-sentence without naming the household. SimpleFin is spelled
SimpleFIN throughout, matching the provider.
* fix(i18n): repair verb forms left by the address change
The previous commit swapped Sie for du with a rule set, which changed the
pronoun but left the verb in its formal form. That produced sentences like
"die du importieren möchten" instead of "möchtest", and "bevor du Brex-Konten
verknüpfen können" instead of "kannst".
Also fixes lowercase deine at the start of a sentence, which came from
replacing Ihre without looking at position, and the last Sie forms in the
Sophtron block scalar and the chat demo banner.
41 strings in total.
* fix(i18n): keep straight quotes inside the HTML attribute
My quote sweep replaced the closing ASCII quote after an opening „ with “,
and in treat_as_html that ASCII quote was the delimiter of class="font-medium".
A curly quote cannot delimit an HTML attribute, so the span rendered with a
broken class attribute rather than merely looking odd.
The attribute now uses straight quotes and only the surrounding citation marks
are typographic. Checked every German value containing markup for the same
mistake; this was the only one.
* fix(i18n): address findings from an independent review pass
Three passes went over this branch: the two bots on the PR, plus a
separate audit of the German values, the t() calls and the YAML structure.
This closes what they found.
Two defects were invisible until then.
settings.providers.status carried the key "false" instead of "off". The
English file writes `off:` unquoted, which YAML reads as the boolean false,
and I had copied the parsed name rather than the intended one. The code
looks up :off, so the status pill for unconfigured providers found nothing
at all. Both files now quote the key, which repairs English too.
The valuation confirmation dialog built a sentence that only works in
English. There, Set and Update open the sentence as imperatives; my German
values were participles, and the partial capitalises them at the start, so
it read "Gesetzt Kontostand am ...". The values are now "Neu:" and
"Geändert:", which carry a sentence opening. The date runs through l()
instead of strftime with a US format, so the German dialog no longer says
"July 30, 2026".
Grammar left behind by the earlier rule-based Sie/du change: 33 strings had
lost the verb particle ("Richte X." instead of "Richte X ein."), six kept an
infinitive after "bevor du", and one turned a pronoun referring to merchants
into a form of address, which reversed the meaning.
Placeholders that had been hardcoded: seven %{moniker}, where users can
choose Gruppe but the German text said Familie regardless, one
%{product_name}, and %{message} in an authorization error that swallowed
the cause.
Structure: entries.selection_bar.edit gave way to the long-standing
transactions.selection_bar.edit, which exists in 15 languages and would
otherwise have fallen back to English for all of them. simplefin_items
gained the missing check_provider_health in en and de, and two buttons
there now use keys that already existed instead of English literals.
Two notes on scope and wording, since this branch has grown well past its
original shape.
The PR began as pure gap-filling and deliberately left existing
translations untouched. The address change and these grammar fixes reach
into them because a dialog that switches register mid-screen is worse than
one that stays formal throughout. Existing values are roughly nine percent
of the diff and sit in separate commits, so they can be dropped on their
own if you would rather keep them out.
German terms stay close to the length of the English source. The buttons
size to their content, but DS::Buttonish sets whitespace-nowrap, so a
longer word widens the button instead of wrapping and pushes its
neighbours around in button rows, table cells and the sidebar. That is why
this locale says Sync rather than Synchronisieren, Setup rather than
Einrichtung, API-Key rather than API-Schlüssel. Where surrounding files use
the longer form, the difference is deliberate.
* fix(i18n): keep flash messages within the notification clamp
The notification partial renders flash messages at md:max-w-80 with
line-clamp-3, so anything past roughly 130 characters is cut off and
survives only in the title attribute. Ten German messages had crossed that
line where the English stayed under it, the longest at 205 characters.
They now say the same thing with fewer detours. "Dieser Vorgang lässt sich
gerade nicht ändern, sein Job steht möglicherweise noch in der Warteschlange
oder läuft" became "Der Job läuft oder wartet noch".
Two of them carried the same text under different keys in the hosting
settings, the older wording at 175 characters. Both read the same now.
Also from review: the region message mixed grammatical cases ("Für diese
Region/Land"), one invitation string still used Sie, and four Sophtron
messages pointed users at an API key configuration when that provider uses
a user ID and an access key.

The admin users page wraps four top-level sibling sections inside a single `bg-container rounded-xl shadow-border-xs p-4` card: 1. description paragraph 2. filter form 3. trials-expiring summary grid 4. families/groups list 5. role descriptions (`settings_section` collapsible → DS::Disclosure :card) The first three carried their own `mb-6`; the families list and the role descriptions section had no margin at all, so the families card sat flush against the role-descriptions card with zero gap — clearly broken next to the well-spaced upper sections. Apply spacing at the **layout** level: hoist `space-y-6` onto the outer container and drop the per-child `mb-6`. All five siblings now get a consistent 24px gap. No other admin or settings pages match this exact pattern (single outer card + multiple sibling sections without parent space-y) — the settings layout already wraps `<%= yield %>` in `space-y-4`, and other pages with outer cards (`api_keys/show`, `llm_usages/show`, etc.) either rely on that layout or carry their own internal `space-y-N`. |

Audit of class-name resolution in views surfaced two related silent
failures across ~17 files:
1. Class names that don't exist anywhere in the design system. Tailwind
silently drops them and the element renders with no CSS for that
property.
- bg-primary (and bg-primary/5, /10, /90): never defined as a
custom utility, no --color-primary in @theme. Used as a CTA bg
in 8 places, all rendered transparent.
- text-inverted: typo of text-inverse.
- text-primary-foreground: shadcn/Radix vocabulary, not in our
token system.
- bg-accent / border-accent / text-accent: same shadcn vocabulary;
not defined.
2. Slash modifier (/N) used on custom @utility blocks. Modifiers only
resolve on Tailwind theme colors (anything in tokens.json color.*).
Custom @utility blocks compile to static @apply statements and
silently drop the /N variant. Affected uses:
- border-surface-inset/50 across provider account selectors.
- border-secondary/30, /40 in admin SSO form and simplefin setup.
- bg-surface-inset/30, /40 in settings preferences and simplefin.

under a new "Alpha modifiers in views (/N syntax)" section, with the
opacity-N convention for custom utilities and a note that the
gray-tint-5 / gray-tint-10 family (and similar pre-resolved tints) are
theme colors and accept /N modifiers natively.
The accent-badge mapping uses neutral semantics for now. A dedicated
brand-accent token (text-link-tint-10 etc.) is worth considering as a
follow-up if the "highlighted metadata badge" pattern recurs.
* fix(design-system): replace undefined divide-primary / divide-secondary with alpha tokens
Same class of bug as the rest of this PR: divide-{name} requires the
name to be a theme color (i.e. expose --color-{name}), and our custom
@utility utilities (primary, secondary, etc.) do not. Tailwind silently
drops the unrecognized class and rows render with no separator.
Spotted six instances during the visual audit:
- admin/users/index.html.erb (×2): users table + pending invitations
- admin/sso_providers/index.html.erb (×2): configured + legacy lists
- transactions/categorizes/_transaction_list.html.erb: categorize sidebar
- settings/preferences/show.html.erb: divide-secondary/60 (also broken)
Swapped to the alpha-black/white pattern already used elsewhere in the
codebase (imports/cleans/show, transactions/_summary, etc.):
